question on shades of green

My family and I are going to be staying at Shades of Green this October. My brother is a National Gaurdsman who has been activated to serve in Iraq. We were originally going to stay at the Poly, but since my brother's wife is also coming on vaction with us we figured that we would stay at Shades of Green. Does anyone know if she will be able to purchase tickets for the 6 of us at the military discount rate?

Yes, if you are guests at SOG with a military sponsor you can purchase your tickets at the same discount price. We just did this in August - we had 3 rooms reserved for us and some non-military family members.
The one thing I will say is that you should be there with them when they purchase the tickets. I received conflicting information from SOG when calling ahead of time. I was told that I would have to purchase the tickets personally for them and that they would not be allowed to use a credit card and purchase for themselves. They all came prepared to just give me the cash to pay for their tickets. In the end, they did allow them to purchase them (and one even used a credit card). I did have to be there to show my ID, though.
Anyway, my point is that you may be told something different on the phone and when you get there, so just be prepared to "go with the flow". You will be entitled to the discount tickets if you are staying at SOG, though.
