question on sci-fi

i just realized we are one over on our TS...i think this was brought up before but could we just order shakes and appetizers and stuff and pay OOP...or since its a reservation at 4 would we be expected to order dinner
also before the meal are u entitled to tell the waiter if u r using the dining plan or cash??? or can u wait for the bill?
i think this is another reason for me to just drop this one...i mean we could use counter service and get more probablly....any good CS recommended in HS? thanks

All places are going to ask you if you are using the dining plan. I don't know why you wouldn't want them to know? We do not use the dining plan and hae no problems telling them we are paying OOP.

You are fine to go there and just order whatever you want. You can have only a milkshake if you want.

sometimes u like to see the cost of the bill to see if its worth using your dining plan or just pay OOP.....

You can do whatever works best for you. You can even use a meal credit for one person, and pay OOP if another person just wants a shake and appetizer. There is no "dining plan police."

As for good counter service in the Studios, if they have it, I've never found it!

We have a Sci-Fi ADR for next week. But we haven't decided if we're just going to have dinner or just dessert. We're having lunch at 50's Prime Time and we're on the dining plan, but don't know if we'll use the plan or pay OOP, since it is a late add on for us. I love the restaurant and just want to go. What we decide to do will depend on how hungry we are at the time.
