Michelle or anyone? Do you know if I can book one of the new Eastern cruises now and then have it transferred to DCL in November when I am on the Magic? Of course I am only doing this because I want to try one of the new cruises, and I want the on board stateroom credit. I wish Disney would revist that policy and offer credits to their repeat cruisers. Thanks everyone.
As I understand the policy, the shipboard credit is only offered for new bookings made while on the ship. DCL will not apply the credit to an existing reservation.
Tammy is correct. There is no way to get the Castaway Club credit unless you book your next cruise while onboard your current cruise. It's probably best to get the Early Booking Savings now if you know what you want to book. You can always compare the pricing when you're onboard and if it is still about the same price then just cancel your first booking and book a new one to get the credit.
We are thinking about booking 2004's cruise when we are on our cruise in Sept/Oct. What type of discounts does DCL offer for rebooking while on your cruise? Also, how much do you have to pay to book? When we booked this one, we had to pay half down to book. Just curious, because I would love to make this an annual trip for us. Maybe in 2004 we can do a week instead of the 4 nighter. Thanks in advance for any help.
FredS, yes, Castaway Club members get an in-stateroom gift (currently a nice beach towel) and an invitation to a members-only reception once onboard. Just be sure it is noted on your reservation that you are a Castaway Club member.
Mom Jenny, welcome! There are no discounts per se for booking onboard but you do get the best early booking savings available. The main benefit is the shipboard credit for your next cruise. The current deposit requirements are $200 per person for the 3- and 4-night cruises and $250 per person for the 7-night cruises.
