We'll be staying at the Portofino for four nights in January. I'm a Loews Platinum member. I would love to get the villa suite. What type of room do I initially have to book - and how many does the villa suite sleep?

Can you get a connecting room to the suite?

Thanks.

If you book a gardenview room at either AAA rate or any published Loews rate (not APH or FLO) you can get upgraded to a Portofino Suite. They have one queen bedroom on one side and a king bedroom on the other. You would have to pay the rate per night for the extra bedroom. They sleep 5.

The Villa Suite is not a Platinum upgrade although others have been lucky enough to secure one. You should call the Loews First # to make your reservations. I dont know if the Villa Suite allows more than 5 people you have to ask. You can get the connecting room on each side the same as the Portofino Suite.

Both suites are beautiful and a real treat when staying at Portofino! Good luck getting what you want.

The Villa Suites have two bathrooms and a connecting king bedroom on one end and a double queen bedroom on the other.

Portofino Suites are cozy and comfortable with plenty of space and two bathrooms as well. These suites have a 283 square foot parlor which adjoins to a 463 square foot Garden View bedroom. A second adjoining Garden View room can also be reserved to create a two-bedroom suite. A one bedroom can sleep up to 5.

Thanks for the information. I love coming to this site and I can't wait to spend some time at Portofino (hopefully in a suite!)

Katy, just make sure to let them know your a platinum member when you book your "garden view room" (AAA typically has good rates) and that you want the portofino suite upgrade.

We got the put in the villa suite once but several other times have gotten the portofino suite which is also nice.

Is there a pull-out couch in the parlor?
Yes, a pull-out in parlor of both villa and portofino suite. I think it was a full size.
