We are currently set to stay at POP June 7-14 and are taking advantage of the Visa promo they had. Are kids are/will be DS 9, DS 5, and DD 2 . My sons LOVE swimming and think the pics of the POP pools look real cool. I am concerned about lack of room and the whole noise issue that I have been reading about. Now I see that there is the lowered rate for FW cabins. We would have to go a couple days earlier, but that is not an issue. My questions for you are this.... One, are we really going to save that much money on food by paying $350 more for the cabin?? My two youngest do not eat sandwiches, so lunch and dinner would be at the parks. Second, the pool issue. Since my boys like pools so much, is the pool at FW nice? Also the whole transportation issue, since we will be going back for naps every day, how good is the FW bus? Thank you so much for any advice. I have learned so much the past week or so since I found this site.princess: princess:

Hmmmm, that's a tough one because I LOVE the cabins (I just love the remoteness and seclusion of FW), but for your needs I think Pop Century would probably be best.

-- Pools at PC are much more themed and fun than the pools at FW. If I remember correctly, the ones at FW are bland and boring.

-- Food: it's tempting to say you'll take advantage of the kitchen in a cabin and cook some of your own meals, but let's face it-- you're on vacation and it's not likely to happen! You can do breakfast easily there, but you could do the same thing in your room at PC.

-- Transportation at PC is much more direct. To get back to your cabin at FW, you've got to take a bus to the main stop (or a boat from MK), THEN transfer to an internal bus, which takes a lot of time. If you're looking to go back for naps, it would be easier to go back to PC.

All that being said, I think the inconveniences of the cabins are worth it just for the location and the space.... but I don't travel with children either.

Hope this helps! :teeth:

FW. Mainly due to extra space. It is nice to have the second bedroom where you can close the door while someone sleeps. The POP was cute and nice, but it was cramped for the 4 of us last week. I can't imagine 3 kids in one room!!

It would definately cost more to do FW, but the nightly campfire and movie is a fun way to end a day. Yes, the pools are just pools, but IMHO so are the POP pools. They are just shaped differently. there are no slides or anything there either.

Good luck with your decision!
