This has probably been asked, but we are at POP so would normally take the Skyliner to HS. My worry is that it won't be operating early enough. Are there still buses to HS early - willing to do this super early. I know there is a 30 minute early entry too, so I want to consider that as well. Any thoughts or experience? Thanks.

Good lord - HOW did this end up on the Aulani Board? Sorry about that - Mods, can you delete or move to TPAS? Thanks.

Ehh, one of thos ads must have bumped the screen up just as I clicked. Annoying.

1. Have a great time getting from Hawaii to DHS that would be quite the journey.

2. The Skyliner tends to get in before the buses typically when it's in operation so that's still a better bet than buses.

3. The fastest method is still to Uber to a location like Swan or Dolphin or the Speedway nearby and walk under the bridge to the security area of DHS.

The fastest method is still to Uber, since we need to get there across water from Hawaii,,wouldnt you need a Suber?

As was stated, quickest would be to Uber to the Speedway and then walk over to the DHS entrance. I don’t know if that walkway has an opening time, but you could be at the entrance to the park real early this way, if that was your preference.

Well, I just wanted to know if that was necessary realy, or does the Skyliner open early enough to get us there at a good time.

Miami Vice Speedboat through the Panama Canal to Cocoa Beach. Uber to POP because your probably going to need a shower. And then Uber to HS don’t forget to get in the Virutal Queue for RotR on the way.

Sounds fun!

Ah, gotcha. The question you need to ask is how early you want to get there.

If you are taking the Skyliner, you want to show up early at the Pop/AoA station. Everyone will have differing opinions, but I'd say the earlier the better. Perhaps 60 minutes before the planned start of the Skyliner (which itself is at least 1 hour before opening). The reason for this is that you will need to join the line at CBR for DHS. From what I read, they will take groups from the front of the Pop/AoA line and add them to the front of the queue to DHS, along with those at the front of the line of those staying at CBR. So, sorta like a zipper, one group from AoA/Pop, one group from CBR. It's not exactly like that, but close.

However, at some point, the CMs stop doing this and send everyone coming off the AoA/Pop line and sends them to the end of the CBR line. If it were me, I'd want to make sure I was in those first groups out of Pop/AoA to the hub to make sure I wouldn't have to go to the end of the CBR line.

I think even if you do get sent to the end of the CBR queue, you’ll still be to DHS prior to opening and prior to the general public, you just won’t be at the very front of the line to get into DHS or the point where they hold you after you tap in.

Thanks. Yeah, they "zippered" us last time, but the Skyliner didn't start running all that early and we didn't get great position (though rope-dropping Rise was also not a possibility, we did pretty well for SDD though). We were about 10th in line for the Skyliner at Pop. Okay, I'll have to consider the times.

You Aulani folks are so nice! 🙂
