Question on points usage/banking for confirmed ressie

Hi - I am in the middle of purchasing a resale to add to my existing contract. If I purchase a contract that currently has banked points, can I apply those banked points to an existing reservation, so that I can take out current year points that were used for that reservation? I would then be able to bank current year points to next year. Thanks.

Maybe. Technically, you would be doing a cancellation and rebooking and if there is a waitlist, you would lose the existing reservation.

If the resale contract is for the same home resort and same use year, MS should be able to accommodate your request without negatively impacting the existing reservation. Call and ask after the resale closes and the points show up in your account.
