My parents will be joining us down in Disney this weekend--they are only going to be there for the day---wheres the best place to buy the one day passes? should they just get them at the gate or should I go over to the Disney store and buy them before they arrive? What is the cost of these? She said something about going to a timeshare and getting passes--but I do not want them going that route if it can be helped---any help is appreciated!!!

One day tickets are not available at TDS. They can be purchased in person at any Disney resort Lobby Concierge window, at any theme park ticket booth, at any automated ticket machine, or at any Guest Relations location. They can also be ordered by phone or online. You can have them sent to you for $3 per order or you can have them kept for will call for no extra charge. There is no price difference between purchasing them in advance or at WDW. There is no time savings between purchasing while at WDW and if you purchase in advance and elect the will call option.

Cost depends on what kind of 1 day ticket you want, but a basic one day one park non-hopping ticket is $63.63 including tax.

One day passes are the least cost effective passes available. If you will be making another trip back to WDW in the next year or so, you might want to invest in lengthier passes then let your parents use one day now and save the rest for later.
