I hope that you guys can help me out.
I have some old park hoppers, probably 4 years old, and they predate the opening of Disney Quest. I still have 4 themepark days and all 4 "options" ie, the water parks and pleasure island. Can I use these to get into Disney Quest? Does it matter that DQ was not an option at the time that I bought the tickets?
I bought the package with free dining. I can save hundreds, however, if I just buy one day of park ticket to get the dining and then use up my old tickets. The DQ is very important to my husband and sons, so if I can't use the old hoppers for DQ, I'll just buy 7 days of tickets.
I didn't want to call CRO with this question. I believe that the members on this board know much more than CRO does!!
Thanks!!

I would say probably not. Years ago before AK we had an AP that was good for the major theme parks and we were not allowed to use it at AK when it 1st opened, until we renewed.

DQ was open more than 4 years ago, so you should be good to go.

I just pulled the tickets out. They are from 2001 and 2003. They are still in the ticket jacket from when I bought them. The options listed clearly only include the 4 major parks, pleasure island and the water parks. I'm not sure when disney changed the hoppers to include Quest as an option. My assumption has been that I can not use them for Quest.
Thanks for your responses.
I am hoping that someone out there may have a similar situation/experience.
Thanks again :flower:

That was correct as the old park hopper plus tickets did not include DisneyQuest then and still does not. Only the MYW tickets have the options that allow use of DQ.

And yes, the computer system knows the difference. ;)

If your vacation is for 5 to 10 theme park days you are better off buying new tickets for all days, or buying 10 day non-expiring tickets.

If you are careful you can use the old tickets for waterparks and new tickets for everything else, saving all 5 new ticket plusses for Disney Quest (new tickets of 7 or more days).
