We are vacationing at WDW in April 2009. DD and her family will book for their home resort and DH and I will book for our home resort (not the same). I would like to know whether I could book our young grandson in with us at the same time as his being booked in with his parents.

I don't see why you couldn't. It isn't like there is a cross reference system in place so that Disney would know the same kid is booked into two rooms.

Only problem I see is if you do the dining plan. You will probably end up with two plans for him.

Normally they won't allow one person to be listed on more than one reservation. In the past they have but in the last couple of years they have not been allowing this. I'm sure it happens at times, someone will likely post they did it, but don't expect it. But there's really no reason to list him in both rooms anyway that I can tell.

We wanted him to be able to stay with us a couple or so evenings, so his parents could go out. Otherwise it would mean us babysitting until they returned and then having to go to our own room. At least if he is with us, we can go to bed whenever we want to.

I do not see an issue if he stays with you and is not on your reservation. It is not as if you are trying to sneak someone in...
