Question on Grand I Fireworks Cruise

We are going to try and book the Grand I Fireworks Cruise for our ds's 5th birthday this July. Has anyone been on it lately? I was wondering if the music was piped in, and if you did the food option what you had and was it worth it. ALso wanted to make sure that it was worth the extra money over a pontoon fireworks/birthday cruise. Thanks.
