Question on Free passes for the bride and groom

Ok, I hope that this isn't sounding greedy, I'm just really curious. I've read on here that many of the custom brides (all I think, but we'll go with many) have recieved free annual pass vouchers for the bride and groom. I am a custom bride and I've recently paid my deposit and been assigned my planner. Today when I got home from work I had a large envelope from DFTW and I thought the vouchers might be in there, but instead there was information about cakes and music. Now, I'm very excited to look at all of that, but it got me wondering about the passes.

If you got passes, when did you get them? Is this something that they're not doing anymore? Will they come later? It's obviously going to save us some $$ to have those for our planning trip in 6 weeks and our wedding trip, so it makes me a little nervous. Any insights are appreciated!

I would wait a few more weeks, and then maybe if you have not heard anything mention it to your SM. Sometimes they have a shortage of them on hand which delays the delivery. Again this is not always guaranteed.

Have you received your countersigned contract yet? We received our passes with our counter signed contract in an envelope that we had to sign for.

I have a question do the passes include everything like the four parks, water parks, and downtown pleasure island or just the four parks?? also are there any dining discounts?

The passes are standard annual passes and only include the 4 parks. You can pay to upgrade them to premium which includes the water parks and pleasure island whihc is what i did as we intend to make 3 visits using them!

It is not guaranteed that you will receive them but i received mine after i had returned my contract and when i received my planning info for cakes and music.

We just received ours (about 4-5 weeks after signing contract). Ours came with the signed copy of the contract (with DFTW signatures added). When you get that, hope that the passes also are included.

I was told by my EM that we would be getting the annual passes with our signed contract. I don't think it's really a secret thing anymore...

Thanks everybody - I haven't yet recieved our countersigned contract - we had a deadline for some hotel reservations, so they rushed assigning our planner to accomodate our deadline. From what it sounds like it may be a couple more weeks before we see the contract back, and I'll see if the vouchers come then.
