What do you need to prove that you are staying onsite? Why I am asking is this. Friday through Sunday I am staying at the Hilton Downtown Disney for a convention and we will be checking out Monday in the AM. We would like to go to Animal Kingdom that morning and take advantage of the extra hour if possible. I then have reservations Monday thru Wednesday at the Dolphin. Are we going to have problems getting in that extra hour? Thanks

Hum. You know Dolphin and Swan are not Disney Resorts. Not sure you get the benefits of early entry w/ them.

His book said "The Swan and Dolphin are operated by Westin and Sheraton, respectively, but are treated as WDW resorts; guest here enjoy most WDW resort benefits. " Only main difference is no charge privelages. Then in his book about the Hilton was that it was "the only hotel on Hotel Plaza Boulevard to offer the "Extra Magic Hour". I thought it was safe to presume that I would have this privelage. Am I wrong? Thanks

You will have to check into the Dolphin before you can use the EE. They do check resort ID's. You could however check in about 6:30am even though your room will not be ready, have them hold your lugage, and hit the park at 8:00. That would however mean getting up really early to do it.

You can do what Jordan's Mom said but if the Hilton has EE privleges then you need to ask them what proof you need that you are a resort guest. At the disney resort your room key is your proof but I've never stayed at the Hilton so I am unsure as to what they use.

The last I heard, Hilton at DTD was the only DTD resort participating in EMH. And I know for sure that the Dolphin participates. When you check into the Hilton, ask if they know what you use for proof of stay at EMH, but I would say that it's probably your room key, just like at the WDW resorts and Swan/Dolphin. Your Hilton room key card should be the only proof you need for EMH.
