Booked this tour for my birthday trip in May. The CM said we needed to bring a bathing suit and no jewelry was allowed except for a watch.

If you have done this tour did you bring your own hairbrushes, shampoo, or soap? I have allergies and use specific products. I didn't think to ask today since it has taken me two days about about 3 hours total to get through the reservation line.

And do the lockers have locks? I am not comfortable leaving my wedding rings in the hotel room.

When I was there the lockers have keys and the tour guide held the keys in a locked box in the hallway. I would take my own towel, shampoo, soap, etc.... The towels are rather small. If I remember right the toiletries are eco friendly as to not harm the animals...

Have a great time. Enjoy the tour.

Thanks I believe I will take my own to be on the safe side.

I am a new swimmer at the age of 36 and this is my reward for getting over my fear.:cool1:

Also they said they do a group photo, will they do one of just me and my husband? It would be great if these were on photopass.

If they use the same locker room as the SCUBA tour, the PP was correct about the lockers and being locked up during your swim. I felt comfortable leaving my things.

If you are using your own toiletries AFTER your swim, I don't see why they would care what kind you use. They do provide toiletries if you don't bring your own.

One final note if you have long hair that you want to tie back -- they didn't let me use my own regular ponytail holders. Just in case they slip off during the tour, they use special ones that won't hurt the fishies. They were the cheap little plastic ones.

Have fun!

You don't have to bring any bath toiletries--they have shampoo, soap--even hairdryers!

I would bring your own deoderant though. I don't remember that being there when we did Dive Quest.

Also--the locks are VERY secure. My sister in law and I both left our things with no worries locked up in the lockers.

Have fun!

I gave this to my DW and 2 DS last year. Their photo was of the 3 of them together and they received 3 of the same photo, in it's own Aqua Tours Photo paper frame. So you should have you and DH together for your photo and receive two of them. You'l have a blast! Enjoy!

We have done this tour 3 times and have another planned in 3 weeks - we love, love, love it!

You will change into a wet suit over your swimsuit, and attach a vest that has a lot of buoyancy so you will actually float on top of the water - it is actually impossible to go to the bottom of the tank. You will snorkel with an air tank - which is a LOT easier than it sounds. I actually have a pretty good claustrophobia problem, but am able to handle the mask after a few minutes of settling in. You will be so fascinated with the fishes (and sharks and turtles) that you will zoom off in pursuit. Don't forget to wave to the diners in the Coral Reef!

The instructor will take your picture (of you two separately) before you go into the water.

Would definitely recommend you bring your shampoo, soap (because of the allergies - otherwise, the stuff provided is fine) hairbrush, deodorant, etc. if you are staying at the parks - you can always rent a locker to store the stuff in for the day.

The instructors are wonderful and very knowledgeable - I am sure you will have a wonderful time!
