Question on early entry on Saturdays

We will have the option of doing EE on either Thursday or Saturday. For various reasons, I'm inclined to do it on Saturday. However, I'd be REALLY bummed out if EE was cancelled - has anyone had any experience with EE being cancelled on either a Saturday or any day? Thanks much!

The only times I have seen/heard it being cancelled were for the days surrounding the Anniversary Kick-off. The Thursday (05/05/05) was moved to Friday (05/06/05).

We did it three days ago on Saturday. It was fantastic since it opened at 7am. We were able to experience each Fantasyland attraction by 9am (including 4 trips through the Matterhorn to kick-off the morning.) If the Thursday morning on your trip has a regular opening of 10am, and EE at 9am, I would pick Saturday.
