My husband and I are thinking about buying dvc resale and looking to stay in mostly studios. We live in Jacksonville and would be going probably once a month, sometimes twice. If we bought dvc, are rooms available spur of the moment for one to two night stays?

DVC doesn’t work well for spur of the moment trips, especially in studios,

Most of the year, you could find difficulty 3 to 4 months out,

I saw that WDW had a "DVC 60 day" last minute availability site to go to. Is this good for last minute?

This would be the 60-day “last minute” availability webpage.

However, it is not updated in real time and the current “last minute” availability is severely impacted by DVC members canceling late April, May and early June reservations due to concerns that the theme parks and resorts will not be open during those dates. It is highly unusual to see so many open dates.

Most of the time you'll find two bedroom villas at SSR, maybe OKW, surely Aulani. Or a few nights in a Grand Villa. But usually not one bedrooms or studios. Even at seven months out when you can book a non-home resort, you may find difficulty in getting a studio or one bedroom villa. If you can't book at 11 months out, I wouldn't buy into DVC.
