question on discount codes

has anyone had any experience with adding a discount code to an existing reservation? i will be traveling with a group of 20-25, want to make the reservation now to ensure room availability however i want to take advantage of discounts. will they really discount your reservation after they already have it at a higher price just for entering a code???

If a discount becomes available, and you call them back and you qualify = YES! They will give you the discount. On a few rare occassions I've had to cancel my 1st ressie and make a new one than start over with a new ressie for the "code" but otherwise there is no reason they won't give it to you. They do it all the time.

We have also been able to apply the code after we already had the ressie. We did this at AKL and YC. We had no trouble at all.

We lost count But because we are from the "north" we usually go twice a year and stretch out 2 weeks about 18 to 20 days :jumping4: !!! (yes, it can be done, creatively), (twice a year). So we are usually at the resort an extented amount of time, even if we split resorts and get a really good look around (sometimes too good a look, and loose little of the magic ). But we have our fav's and keep returning to them the last few years. (poly, bc, cr, pors, and now the wonder). Seems like we are on a rotation, in march its pors, wonder & poly and oct bc. (so far).

Welcome to the DIS, Samdan!

Just remember that codes are very limited, so if you want to get a code rate on five or six (or more) rooms, you may to have to jump on it pretty quickly.
