Hello,

We are going to DL in Aug/Sept. We actually leave Denver Aug. 28 and arrive in CA August 30. I know that this is a busy period with summer and all, but is it busier with this being the 50th? My DH is a little worried that things are going to be so crowded when we go that it is not going to be worth going. We go every year at this time and the like going but he is just concerned because of the 50th.

Any help would be great.

thanks!

just thought that I would bump this back to the top. This is something that I am really interested in.

Thanks!

I expect that the crowds will be heavier this year, but it shouldn't be enough to scare you away. The 50th celebrtion is being celebrated for 18 months after all. At the time that you are going, many of the schools in California and the country will be back in session. Disney obviously expects there to be fewer travelers to DL at that time, because the rates at the resorts drop significantly the last week of August. Many Los Angeles area schools will still be out for the summer, but I would expect a fair percentage of the additional crowds to come from outside of the area.
