Hello,

My best friend has never been to DL or WDW. I am planning on taking her around April 15, 2002 since the Easter crowds should be gone by then. I haven't been to DL in a long time. How crowded would mid April be? Also, how does early entry work. Can anyone with a park hopper pass get in for early entry or do you have to be staying at a Disney hotel? Any information would be great!

Thanks!

Hello Karebear, the crowds will be there. You are going to hitting the "Spring Break" crowds. I know our school district is out April 15-19 and if you live up here in Washington if you don't go to Hawaii or Mexico it is usually Disneyland. As for early entry if you are staying at what they call Good Neighbor Hotel and have booked your vacation thru Walt Disney Travel you can get one day early entry. But they do not do this on Sunday or Wednesday. If you have booked your trip yourself or thru another tour company then I would say no, there is no early entry. Hope this helps, have a Disney Day!!:earsgirl:

I was just there and I obtained a 5 day hopper through the Walt Disney Travel Co... I was able to enjoy "early entrance" on all days (except Sunday and Wednesday since there is no EE these days)...

Unfortunately, as dianedisney has stated, you probably will run into the Spring Break crowd... By the tail end of April, everybody disappears and the park becomes very empty. I usually go to Disneyland during this time, as everybody returns to school/work...
