Hi. :)

For our last night at WDW, we want to dine at the CG in time to view the fireworks while having dinner. For our date, Wishes is on at 10pm. IPO has scheduled a PS for us at 7:10pm. I personally think this is too early. What time would you suggest we move the PS to? And if we move it later, will we have a hard time getting a window seat?

This wil be our first visit to WDW so we really have no idea what the perfect time is. :) Thanks everyone. :)

personally I would move the PS to about 8:30 if it's available, and if you can eat that late LOL. Getting a window table at CG is always hit or miss from what I hear. When we ate there a couple of times - we always got a window table. We'll be there in 16 days and hoping for another window table!

Now - we've never been there for the fireworks, we will this time.

Have fun!

Sorry I can't answer your question on timing, except to say (as I'm sure you know) you cannot be assured a window table no matter when your PS is. There is a viewing deck you can use if you're in the restaurant but want a better view.

We were fortunate enough to have a window table at CG last year, and it IS a wonderful view. But if I were in your situation, I would finish my dinner, then walk over to MK and see Wishes! IMO there is no substitute for being there, especially if you've not seen it before.

We ate at CG on the last night of our honeymoon in Sep. We did not get a window seat and went outside to view Wishes, and were dissapointed. IMO the view from the beach at the Poly was better. I would also suggest making a later PS if you wish to be there during the fireworks. Like most restaurants at WDW they kind of force you through your meal and you might feel a little uncomfortable sitting at a prime window seat sipping a cup of coffee for two hour while hungry people stare at you from the bar.

I would also recommend an 8:30 PS. Ask for a window table for Wishes when you check-in and let them know that you are willing to wait for one.
