Hi All, I usually book our late May/early June trip when the Spring discounts come out. This is for room only. Then I proceed to change resorts or do a split stay etc. Anyway, is this no longer allowed? I thought I remember reading where if you shorten your stay or make changes the the whole resv. can be lost? I haven't booked airfare yet, so that could change things.

TIA!! :flower:

Basically, they aren't just dropping days anymore.

Example, if you're going from 10 days to 7 days the 7 days you want need to be available as a new booking or they won't modify. They basically search for a new booking for your new dates. If it's bookable, they'll just modify you. If it's not, they won't.

Yes. Very often, they require that a new reservation be made for the shorter period. If the room and/or discount is not available for the new stay dates, you may not be allowed to just drop a day from an existing booking. This is to prevent orphan days.
