Question on Banking Points

We are new DVC members! Yeah

We have 83 2008 points. Our use year is December. We are considering using these points for a September 2009 vacation to our Home resort of BWV.

If we choose not to use these points before December 2009, what is the deadline for banking them into the next year?

You can bank up to end of 8th month of your Use Year

Okay, here is the exact line from my contract on the 150 BWV points.

**BUYER TO RECEIVE 67 BORROWED POINTS FROM THE 2008 ALLOCATION, WHICH NEED TO BE
USED BY 12/1/08, 83 POINTS FROM THE 2008 ALLOCATION, 150 POINTS FROM THE 2009 ALLOCATION AND ALL POINTS
FROM CLOSING FORWARD.**

When did the 2008 allocation start? December 2007? Help me understand this....

Your 2008 allocation starts Dec 1, 2008. I know it seems a little wacky with December use years, because they are almost the polar opposite of a calendar year.

It appears 67 points were borrowed from the Dec 1, 2008, use your to the current Dec 1, 2007, use year. Those points will have to be used for a stay by Nov 30, 2008, or lost.

The 83 points will have to be used by Nov 30, 2009, or banked by July 31, 2009, into the Dec 1, 2009, use year.

Ahhhhh. I see now. Thanks for clearing that up. So I can make a ressie on the 83 2008 points 11 months out which would be October 2008. If I change my mind, I will have to do so by July 31, 2009, right?
