question on Aug 2009 package rate

We were originally going to go to Disney in May but switched to end of August 2009 so our rate at Contemporary Resort went from $325 per night to $280 and we also decided to get a package with the meals & park tickets included for 4 nights. The total is $3075. Is this a good deal? Also they were unable to get AAA rates right now, is this something that can be deducted in the future if the rate is better. Now for the parks does this include regular and waterparks as it is for one park per day (i didnt get park hopper but may later on). Also for the meals does this include character meals as its for 1 sit down, 1 counter, & 1 snack?
As far as pins, if this does happen within the next few months, do they keep your reservation and adjust the price?
