Question on Arriving?

When we arrive, I was planning to go straight to Epcot. Being new to Disney, I didn't realize until today that we will not get our tickets until we check in the resort. We arrive at 2 pm and can't check in according to the resort online until 4 p.m. Will they let us check in without going to the room before 4 p.m.? We have dinner reservations at the L'Originale Alfredo di Roma and would like to head to Epcot.

What other suggestions might you have for us to do prior to checking in and dinner?

You can check in when you arrive and get all of that in order - just may not have a physical room to go to at that time.

You can go ahead & check in at the hotel as soon as you arrive and get your park passes. Your room might not be ready yet & if it's not, the hotel will store your luggage for you.

they will give you a number to call the hotel later in the day to see if your room is ready yet. We have done this before, checked into our hotel in the morning and headed straight to the parks and then just called the hotel back later in the day to make sure our room is ready!!
