Question on ADRs/split stay

Hi all, we are booked to stay AKL 10/21-10/25, then BCR 10/25-10/29. When I call on 4/24 for my 180 day mark for the AKL piece, can I make all my reservations for my whole trip, or are they going to limit me to only make through 10/25 and have to wait until 4/28 for the rest? Thanks!!

If you have two different reservation numbers, you'll have to make your reservations for each 'leg' of the trip.

If it's one reservation number for the whole thing, then you can make reservations for the whole trip on the 24th.

It's two different numbers I was hoping the whole "+10" thing was in play even if the first reservation ended. I'm worried about Fantasmic, which we'll do with the second ressie since we can walk from BCR. Looks like people are having trouble on here getting availability...

I think if you do it online you will get the +10. I have a room only reservation the night before the Free Dining pkg starts and I was able to book all of my +10 on the room only reservation. The next day I used my Free Dining Pkg confirmation and made the next ADR on my list (I'm staying 15 nights total).

I wasn't sure about the Fantasmic DP as I thought without the DDP attached it would charge me but it said it was just a hold on my CC and I wouldn't be charged. I booked it along with the rest of the ADR's on my room only reservation.

The only ADR that would have a charge that I'm doing is Akershus, which is near the end of my trip so I didn't have to wait to book that one.

I see no reason for it not to work. If I was able to do it with just a room only reservation for one night then a person with a split stay should be able to as well.

If you call the dining line CM may not let you do them all, but I had no problem doing reservations into my 2nd leg online.

We have a split stay coming up for May with 2 reservation numbers. When we made our ADRs back in Nov via phone, the CM only needed the reservation for the first leg of our trip and we were able to make reservations for the entire trip. She said that the first number would allow us to make reservations for the next ten days after check in. I don't think your ADRs are really tied to your hotel reservation except to check your arrival date.

I actually just did this the other day! We have a room only reservation, followed by a package (separate confirmation numbers.) I was able to book dining reservations for all of my trip online using the confirmation number from our room only reservation. Good luck!

If you are booked on a MYW package w/ the DDP, ADR's requiring pay-payment (such as CRT) are given open access to book using only a CC guarantee. So in this case, an ADR is linked or tied to a specific hotel reservation.

OP, we are doing a tri-split stay with room only/MYW with DDP/room only. Since the first ressie is room only, I was able to book (**via online-see note) the first 10 days of our trip for any ADR's that did not require pre-payment, unless of course I wanted to pay upfront.

For ADRS beyond the 10 days (11+ days) as well as those requiring pre-payment, I had to wait until the 180 day of my MYW with DDP package... which was two days later.

**When I called at 180 days on the first reservation, the CM's would not book 180+10 for me. I called AKL IPO as well as CRO. They both stated I could only book the first two days of my split stay via phone. I ended up doing it myself online.
