Question on ADRs for split stay

We are considering adding on a day or two to the front side of our BCV trip in August. We would stay in a non-DVC Disney hotel. Does anyone know if I can make all my ADRs from the date of initial check-in or can I do I have to wait for 180 days from my DVCcheck-in date?

I don't think you'll have any problems making them based on your first Disney check-in date. But really, I just made most of my dining arrangement last week for a June stay without any problems...so unless you want a really hard to get reservation, you should be fine even if you have to wait.
