Question on adding one day for 2 people in the group

We are booked with the 1 QS meal Summer deal. Our reservation is for 7 nights and we have the 6 days tickets. We had to change our airline tickets and will now arrive early enough in the day that the kids can go to a park on arrival day. Can we add one day for just the 2 kids but not for myself or my husband?

A little information for possible questions: We are all four staying the same room. My husband isn't SUPER excited to be going to Disney again, so we have compromised that this trip will be far less commando style and more relaxed. He wanted 5 days in the park, I wanted 8 so we compromised at 6 (works best with airfare too). The kids are old enough to venture out on their own, DD is 20 and DS is 16.

I'm hoping the kids can head to a park and husband and I can hang out at the pool or go to Disney Springs for dinner.

Thanks!

Yes they can each add a day, but not until you guys arrive. This means no FP+ can be booked in advance.

Just send them off to the park when you get there and when they return, go down to guest services and add the number of days you want for whoever you want.

As PP said, the only "problem" you have is you will only be able to do FP+ for 6 days, but once you update their tickets, you can go on and do the other days. So you'll need to decide if the kids do FP+ on the arrival day or you keep all your FP+ to the days you know all of you will be in the parks.

You can book FPs for your kids for arrival day and that will be Day#1 FPs for them.

After you add on the 2 additional days, you can use the Change Party function to try to add them on to one of your pre-booked FP days. You can wait to book Day#8 for them after you add on their extra days.

Thanks for all the information, I didn't think about the Fast Passes. It's great to know adding a day won't be a problem. Thanks again.
