I was watching AMC last night and The Public Enemy came on. Really a cool movie if no one has ever seen it....anyways, I got to thinking about the scene in TGMR where James Cagney is standing at the door in a tuxedo saying something to the guy beyond the door? I didn't see this part in the movie last night though so was wondering how that came about. So my questions are;

A. Does anyone know what the animatronic James Cagney says on the ride?

B. Did Disney take liberty in creating a scene of various parts of the movie instead of one scene like the other parts of GMR?

All I can remember off the top of my head is something like "Let me in, or I'll kick your teeth out...one tooth at a time".

I have it on video somewhere. If I can find it, I'll post it on youtube and notify this thread.

James Cagney...the 1930s Chuck Norris.

The ride’s Gangster Alley re-creates an early Prohibition scene from this 1931 film, when Tom Powers (James Cagney) threatens a speakeasy owner with violence if he doesn’t become a customer: “When Dutch comes around he’s gonna leave you some beer. And you’re gonna take it. And you’re gonna kick in with the dough. If you don’t, somebody’s gonna drop by here and kick your teeth out one at a time.”
