I like the Scotch Quick Dry Adhesive for small things and anything I want the edges to stay down without being lumpy.
For mats & things I will be using brads or eyelets in the corners, I like Scrapbook Adhesives's Mounting Squares. They are great. Although those little blue squares seem to creep out of the wastebasket all over the floor.
I can't believe you asked that questions because I was planning on asking about adhesives on the scrapbook board. Lately, I've been having problems with adhesives, especially on things like ribbons. Plus, I tried making exploding boxes and the adhesive I used on the lid didn't hold. I also used some of the adhesive spray and I loved it but then saw some places where it didn't hold. Help!
I use my Xyron a TON! It gets a workout. Other than that, I haven't found my absolute favorite yet. Although I just became a Stampin Up demonstrator so perhaps I should try to make that my favorite. I have a Kokuyo Dot 'n' Roller that the girl at Archiver's swears is the best. I haven't tried it yet. I used to be in love with Creative Memories, but the last roll I had frustrated me to no end. For the little pieces that I can't get into my Xyron I use Sakura Quickie Glue pen that I found at Archivers.
My ATG gun for anything over 1/4", including ribbon. Zig Pen for smaller stuff. Sometimes a glue stick. My Xyron doesn't get much use now, mostly just for smaller pieces of vellum.
I used to swear by the CM tape runner, but nothing beats my new ATG gun. That sucker will hold down anything! I also use glue dots for ribbon and bulkier things (buttons, etc.).
I use Scotch quick dry, CM adhesive (vanyel it works great on the exploding box), glue dots, xyron, the zig pen on occasion, pop dots, and photo corners.
I used Tombow before that (tombo. whatever) It worked but I went through it like water.
I'm still on the hunt for something sticky and liquidy for detail work. I got an elmers liquid double tipped glue at Hobby Lobby that I like so far but it's a bit messy (no real fine tip).
Another ATG convert here. LOVE it. Before that I used to use mounting squares, which I didn't mind except for the trail of blue squares all over my house.
I also use my Xyron a lot, especially for Cricut letters. I also like Glue dots and glue lines, and a Zig glue pen from time to time.
