We are only staying one night at the PC and the rest at the Boardwalk. Will PC transfer our luggage to the Boardwalk? Do we have to go with it to check in?

We had thought we would let the luggage to over, hit the parks for a little while and then check-in. Or is it better to check in first thing?

Thanks and have a great day!

We usually let Bell Services transfer of the bulk of our luggage from one resort to the next... Once you get into your room at BWV, just call and they'll bring your luggage up.

We will pack an extra large daybay though with enough in it to either go park hopping or swimming, plus snacks for the kids...

mbhoxie. I have a duffle bag that would be perfect!

I would suggest that you, or at least one of your party, get over to BWV early to check-in. I thnk you might get a better room choice that way. We made the mistake at the BCV in May of not getting there early. We had been staying at the WL(hotel, not villas) for a couple of days, and then we moved to BCV into a 1 BR for 2 nights, and then we were going to need a 2BR for 3 nights.

Well, we packed our stuff from the WL and had it moved to BCV, no problem. We then went to a park and didn't get to the BCV till about 5PM. When we checked in, we were hoping to have the 1BR for the first 2 nights and the move to the studio lockoff that was next to our 1BR(which would have turned ou 1BR into a 2BR) for the next 3 nights. Unfortunately, because we had checked in so late, there was no 1BR/studio lockoff combos left, so we stayed in a 1BR for 2 nights, then had to pack up and move again for the next 3 nights. Not a terrible tragedy, and Disney handled it fine with picking up our stuff etc, but it would have just been easier if we could have "spread out" into the lockoff after the first 2 nights in the 1BR.

The folks at the front desk told us that if we ever needed to do something like that again, to check in early and explain to the CM what you need because they will have more flexibility with assigning rooms earlier in the day and could have probably accomodated our needs.

We did a resort hop from BWV to OKW this past Feb. We had BWV bell services take all our bags and food in the morning and then we headed to the parks. We arrived at OKW in the early afternoon, I think around 2:00 to check in. (We never stay a whole day in the parks). Anyway we checked in to OKW and were assigned our room right away. As soon as we got to our room we called bell services at OKW and they brought our bags up in less than ten minutes. They had refridgerated all of our perishables too. It was a great experience and really made our switch easy.
