question--Leaving after the fireworks

JustKaren said:
In a few weeks I am staying in the park for the first time at the Pop Century (I've always stayed off-site). Would it be best if we did the fireworks/illuminations on a day they have the extended hours for the resort guests, then we wouldn't have to do the "mad dash" afterwards? Would that work out? Has anyone done that before?
Thanks!

WELCOME to the DISboards!

Yes, of course guests watch the fireworks on EMH nights and then stay... that's what EMH is all about.

But EMH nights are usually much more crowded than "regular" nights, so I don't think you'll gain any advantage as far as crowds go.

Best bet is doing what we've all been discussing in this thread.
Watch the show... then find a seat... and let the rest of the hordes fight their way out as you sit and relax... then, later, you mosey out with the "stragglers".

JustKaren if you decide to go on an EMH night find a place to watch the fireworks that is close to the land you want to start emh in. That way you won't be fighting all of the crowds going the opposite way.
