Question! If I book now for

2011, will I be able to add a discount if I get one via email, etc? I know prices aren't correct right now if I book it but that will be adjusted once August rolls around. I'm more wondering about discounts this time around....I would just like to book a trip and have more time to pay on it...like a full year!

Yes you can book now, all you need to do put down one night's deposit to hold your room. If and when discounts come out all you have to do is have it applied to your room.

We had our rooms booked was waiting for AP rates to come out, got an e-mail from Disney a few months after booking for the 20-30-40 off pin, e-mail my agent and 40% was taken off both my rooms. Plus I added a day, total savings was over $2100. I doubt AP rates will be any better when they come out. You never know there seem to be ton of discounts this fall.

Thank you so much! I was just wondering because when I spoke with a CM a couple of weeks ago (trying to rebook at CR) he told me there were no rooms available to use my code?! Even though I told him I could go on the WDW website and pull up several rooms in different categories????

While there may have still been rooms available, not all of them are eligible for discount pins/codes or AP rates. Each code/rate has a limited number of rooms assigned to it, and once those are booked (by others with the same code/pin/AP rate) then they're gone.

I just called today to book a 4 day getaway during F/W with a 40% off pin for the Values. I needed Movies, Music, or Sports so that I would have transportation for the Wine and Dine 1/2 marathon. Although all 3 resorts had availability on the website, the only resort that still had rooms left for my rate was at sports (my last choice).

Last year I started off with a room only reservation. When I called to make that reservation I flat out asked the CM about what would happen if/when a promo came out that would give me a discount. I was told to call back and it would be applied, no problem. I took advantage of the pay for 4/stay for 7 deal last year and as soon as I saw it on mousesavers, I called Disney, and I had no problem extending my stay at CSR and making it a package.
