I have to change my Disney vacation from December to either January or February. Who here has been to Disney World in Jan. or Feb? I can't decide which month to change to. How long does all of the Christmas trees, lights decorations etc. stay up after Christmas? Does anyone know what type of events are going on in either of these two months? And also what month and time during that month is less crowded? I have only been in December and have no idea which month to change my trip to?? One last thing, regarding the weather. What is the weather like during Jan. and Feb. is it the same as in December; pretty cold/cool? Thank you in advance for any help at all I am in deperate need of it!! I have no clue what to do about this change!! :confused3 which month and time during the month do I pick???
Thanks a million!!!!!

February might be slightly warmer, but it's also more crowded because that's when school vacations start. Also, January is value season. Peak season starts mid February so prices will skyrocket.

We went in Jan 2005 and it wasn't crowded at all. The weather got very chilly at night tho. We did manage to sneak one day for the pool. :sunny:
I would also check park hours, they close a bit earlier. We went late Jan, so decorations were down already. This year we go in Dec. for the first time, we usually go in May.

We will be going Jan 4-10 this winter- the Osborne Lights will be running through the 7th, and the Jingle Jungle parade at AK will run through the 6th. I read that many of the Christmas decorations will still be up that 1st week of January.

The WDW Marathon will be going on that first weekend in Jan., so it might be busier than the rest of the month. But I've heard that most of Jan. is pretty light, crowd-wise. February is slow until Presidents' Week- then it is mobbed.
