Do you have a special recipe for cole slaw, baked beans, potatoe salad, macaroni salad or whatever your speciality is for a BBQ/informal gathering?

My mom's secret is for potatoe salad is for every potatoe you use, you must use 2 hard boiled eggs. She also uses dry mustard, mayo (best foods only!), olives, onions, and celery, salt and pepper....

Man makes me want some right now!

:teeth:

Actually, instead of macaroni salad, sometimes I make a pasta salad with fresh veggies -- broccoli, carrots, maybe some frozen peas (you drain the pasta over the peas to defrost them) and a dressing made from balsamic vinegar and honey mustard. Yummy.

I am scared to make my own dressing. I watch them do it on Food Network and think "I can do that" and then I chicken out LOL and do something like a bottle of italian.

I don't make any of those mayo-ish salads. I still think the best baked beans out there are Bush's Country Style. I could eat a whole can myself...and pay for it later!!

My mother would put chopped up onions in her potato salad..yum.
