Question from renter

Hi,
At the thread title states, I'm not a DVC member, so please forgive me from barging in on your thread.

I'm renting points for next Jan. I already have something lined up so we can make ressies at the 11th month mark. However it's not at our first choice, but still one that would give us a great vacation.

We are hoping to change our reservations (the member will do this for us) at the 7 month mark. But I'm a little concerned that there won't be any availability.

So it's a long winded intro to ask:
What are the chances of getting a 2bed villa at BCV at the 7 month mark for the end of Jan?

I'd find a member who can give you what you want now. Your chances are good in January - if the member remembers to call right when the seven month window opens. If they forget, or go on vacation themselves, or get really busy, you could lose your chance of staying where you want. But if you like and trust the member, and you don't mind ending up where this members points are if it doesn't work out to switch, stick with what you've got.
