We're looking at flying SWA from Minneapolis to Orlando next March. The flight we're looking at would require a change of planes in St. Louis.
When I get my original boarding pass and boarding number, does that include the St. Louis to Orlando leg as well?
Or do I have to get a new boarding number and print out a new boarding pass in St. Louis?

Assuming that both flights are on the same reservation, when you check in for your original flight (as early as 24 hours in advance if you do it yourself or 36 hours in advance through EBCI) you will get boarding passes for both legs of your flight--the MN flight and the STL flight. You will not need to check in separately for the STL flight.

That makes sense. Since I'd be checking in for my reservation, I'd essentially be checking in for both flights at once, yes?

Absolutely correct.

And that actually gives you a head start on checking in for the STL flight because you can get your BPs based on the start of your MSP flight, but people starting in STL have to check in based on the departure time of that flight.

Our flight dates opened up this morning, so I went ahead and booked.
As it turns out, the new schedule doesn't require a plane change (just one stop), so the whole thing is now moot.
(The price was a little higher than I thought it would be, but it's far better than what Delta has available.)
