Ok so my wife and I along with our 2 little ones are going to DL in September - my question is will the WOC and Firework show still be going on at that time?
We are trying to look / book dinner & shows just to get a plan in order, and she asked me to get on "my forum thing" to ask :thumbsup2

Also any tips on meeting A & E would be greatly appreciated!

what days are you going, it looks like they don't do Fantasmic/normal fireworks on halloween party nights o if like us you are going late Sept your only chance may be Sept 27th

We will be there from September 14th (sunday) through the 18th (thursday) i believe.

If that's the case, you will only have F! on the Sunday night. WOC should be on every night though. There won't be any Halloween parties to contend with on those dates.

 Hi, we will be there those dates too. That Sunday should be the first weekend of RDCT (instead of Magical). It will be your only night for fireworks and F!
If your DD can stay up late enough or sleep in a stroller I would watch the fireworks then head for the 2nd F! (assuming they run 2, still waiting for hours\ schedule)
WOC should be every night.
I'm hoping the lines for A&E won't be so bad during such a quiet week (but maybe I'm delusional)

I would really like to catch the fireworks. Sunday will be our check-in day and would be an awesome night to end with fireworks. Will they be doing them on that Sunday does anyone know? I am not worried so much about WOC then, we can watch that another night, but the fireworks my wife was looking forward to with our kiddos.

Does anyone know if eating dinner at Ariels Grotto that gets you a FP for WOC is worth it?

Also again any info on the Fireworks / F on that Sunday would be greatly appreciated! We will be staying at the DLH also

And what does RDCT mean? I am still trying to get up on all the abbreviations on this forum! ;)

Sunday will be your only opportunity for both F! and the fireworks. It is possible to do them both on one night if you would like to try and catch both.

The general consensus is that it's not worth doing the WOC dining package specifically for the VIP viewing area. You still need to get there early to get a good spot. The only time most people think it might be worth it is if you're planning to eat at Ariel's anyway. It's not difficult to get a FP for WOC.

Awesome! We will try to catch the fireworks and F our first night, I cant think of a better end to our first day at DL as a family than with the fireworks. Ill let my wife know! This forum is so helpful already!

If you do the F! Dessert package opt for the first show then they will let you stay in your seats for the fireworks. Our server brought us drinks in preparation for the fireworks show. It's not as good a view as some areas of the park, but keeping your seat and having drinks and snacks was a pretty sweet gig!

Where do you do this at? Even if its not the best view some seats and treats would be good for the kids to sit for something like that......

I found it online haha......that might be something to consider. It is better than trying to fight for a spot for the Fireworks / F! ?

RDCT= Remember Dreams Come True (fireworks) :)
They will be doing them on the Sunday, but otherwise there is no entertainment schedule yet. I would assume the fireworks will be at 9.30 and F! Will be at 9&10.30 based on previous years.

How old are your kids?
We will be doing the dessert package for the first time this trip, we have never managed a good view of F! before. It is $59 per person (no kids pricing, if they are under three they sit on your lap)
I am hoping none of my girls are scared.

Personally I think the fireworks need to be watched from the hub\main St, you miss a lot if you watch from the F! area.
You can easily watch from the hub and then do the 10.30 F! if your kids can do that late/ sleep while you watch.

Where are you travelling from? Will they be jetlagged or in a different time zone?

Our Daughter is 4 and our Son will be a little over 1 1/2years. No jeglag as we are driving from Oregon to CA. We want to see both F! and the fireworks, but the fireworks seem more important to my wife so we might get a "good" spot to watch the fireworks and then catch the 2nd showing of F! - that is maybe the plan.

We are starting to form a game plan a little as we want to do the Princess Makeover @ BBB one day - breakfast @ Goofy's Kitchen - and some fun dinners around the park as well as parades / shows ect.....I know that it wont ever work perfectly according to plan but having some sort of gameplan is a must with my wife and I. ;)

Great ages, we have done very similar ages as well, this trip ours will be almost 5 almost 3 and 6 months.

BBB is great fun.
We loved Minnie's in the park and are trying Goofy's for dinner this trip.

Do you have a doubler stroller? If not I would suggest borrowing or hiring one esp for the end of the night.

We are bringing our Single BOB Rev. for the trip.....the double BOB just takes up too much space. Our Daughter can ride on the front section fine if need be.

Question about the BBB.....We plan on doing the Castle package, and from the pictures I have been seeing it really only shows the one style, is that simply because that's the style they get with the more basic packages? I am just curious as I want to plan out our day for the one we choose to make her Res. for for her Makeover....Thanks again, this forum is awesome!

Ah yes trying to fit everything in the car =) If you could fit it I di think it would be worthwhile taking your double, the closer she is to 4 (as opposed to almost 5) she is the more I think you will find it helpful esp in the evenings after the fireworks etc, I think so so much I am considering a triple for our trip!-My DD4&DD2 never use a stroller at home. BUT you know what works for your family.

RE: BBB She will have 4 hairstyles to choose from:
-Disney Diva
-Pop Princess
-Color Star
-Fairytale Princess

I think Fairytale Princess is the one you see the most, the nice thing about this is that they get a really nice tiara to keep. You can just book the castle package and she can choose her hairstyle on the day.

I think my DD4&DD2(to avoid confusion DD2 will have her third birthday there hence she can do BBB) are planning on the Sofia the First Package this trip.
