Hi, fairly new to the boards. Been lurking for some time now. Planning first trip ever to WDW. Been to DL twice as a little girl.
Planning to go in August to celebrate dd 5th birthday, will be dh, dd5, dd2 and ds2(twins).

Deciding on a resort, would like to stay onsite.

Since it is 5 of us, can we get a standard/courtyard/woodsview room with bunk bed or would we have to get a deluxe room??

Also, the WDW site lists the rack rate for a deluxe room during value season as $390.00 and a deluxe room with concierge only $360.00. Is there a difference in the rooms and are discounts offered for these rooms? If so, can someone state the room rate that they have received with a discount??

Thanks in advance!!!

Go to the WL FAQ thread and click on the 1st page. It gives a great overview of the lodge rooms. All your questions can be answered on that thread.

The Lodge is such a magical place. Im sure you will just love it!!
Enjoy!!

You have a child under 3, so one would count as an infant. You would be "allowed" to get any room of your choosing. You would not "have" to get a deluxe room. The deluxe rooms are very rarely discounted and they book very quickly.

WL is a wonderful place for young children. My dd especially enjoyed the kiddie pool!

Have a great stay!
