Are the non-housekeeping two bedroom units located in a specific area or are they spread out? I booked a unit with housekeeping because it was the cheapest option, but saw non-housekeeping units offered on another site. I would actually prefer NOT to have housekeeping (as long as I can keep my rate) but want to stay in one of the newer areas. I don't know if I should call them and ask about this, or if all the non-housekeeping units are in an older area. Thanks!

both are all over. It is a timeshares. timeshares generally don't have housekeeping.

I really doubt Vistana will put a paying guest is a bad room. they do put RCI exchanges, skyauction and several other discount places (discount places are much cheaper than $75 a night) in the older and less popular sections.

regardless you will get housekeeping in the middle of your stay. It was a BIG surprise to us. we expected no housekeeping so when she showed up - we were both surprise. It was the day before Thanksgiving too.

My rate is about $105 a night, and the link I used actually took me to the Starwood site. Hotel Kingdom had both housekeeping and no-housekeeping options, but they were more money than I'm paying. Thanks for the information! Maybe I'll give them a call and see if they can switch us to no housekeeping.
