Question for Tyler regarding POP tranportation to Chef Mickey's for dinner.

My family is planning on having dinner @ Chef Mickey's on a Saturday @ 7PM. This will also be our arrival day at POP (3PM) and we will not have a car. I would like my family to enjoy the resort as much as possible that day and not have to rush and leave and hour before our PS to use the Disney bus transportaion. Is there normaly taxis on hand so we could leave like 6:30/6:40PM to get over to the CR?

Bell services/luggage assistance can call a cab if there isn't one waiting. I've never waited more than five minutes for one to show after being called anywhere at WDW. Call luggage services as your leaving your room and there should be one there for you when you get to the front.

Just an FYI--it's about a $13 cab fare plus tip from Pop to CR.

Another option is to take the bus directly to the MK, then walk the five minutes to the Contemporary, just follow the path under the monorail.

There is pretty much always a cab waiting at the Porte Cochere for guests, and even more in the parking lot for when the first cab leaves.
