So I've been going through my TP before we leave for vacation.

I'm wondering, do you find that times posted in TP's are pretty accurate as far as wait times, etc. and how long it takes you to go through the items listed in your TP, or do you find if you follow a TP you're sometimes either ahead of or behind their schedule?

I ask because there's some characters we want to meet, so I'm trying to make sure we have time in the day to add that to our TP's. Because you can't add character M&G's on TP, it's just something I'm trying to be conscious of. Plus, TP doesn't account for extra FP's we may get after we've used our 3, so if I have something in my TP that is a 30 minute wait, but I know it's something I might use a 4th FP for, that 30 minute wait is now drastically reduced.

FWIW, I'm going into the trip having a TP, but knowing that I more than likely won't follow it to a T, but I like to at least have the list of attractions we want to see, the notes I've made about character M&G's, and I'm trying to avoid walking back and fourth 10x in each park, I'm hoping TP's will help me in that sense.

I've been using TP alot for DL since we have annual passes now so my experience is limited to DL. We've had excellent luck with TP and suggested it others when I'm in line.
What we have found using TP:
* Look at last posted time - make sure to refresh your times
* Be honest with yourself - Space Mountain isn't going to have a 10 minute wait line on a Saturday with a 8 crowd level. If the times looks too good to be true, they probably aren't true.
* Post yourself - help keep the information posted and update
* Check on the daily report card that TP gived themselves - after each day they tell you how they did. For example; they projected a 4 CL day but it was really at 6 CL day. Also they will tell you how they did on wait times for the previous day. This information will help you better understand the predictions.

Have fun!

You can add meet and greets into your touring plan. At least the permanent location ones. Some of the other, especially in Epcot are not listed since they aren't there all the time. We are usually ahead of our plan. Download the app and use the optimize button while you are there.

I've seen it where I can add some M&G's and not others - Pocahontas in AK for example, I can't find where to add the M&G for her - I'm finding to be true for a lot of the princesses?

Only the M&Gs with a FP are in the attraction list, I think. The other characters that meet can be scheduled by inserting a break.

My problem is that I want to use a FP at a certain time, TP sometimes says 'you don't need it at this time, so we left it out'. Causing me to wait for example 25 minutes, as a FP is only useful when it saves more than 30 minutes. While I consider saving about 20 minutes still a good deal, when the FP is scheduled right before lunch or something.

That and that you cannot schedule the use of the single rider lines. Baby swap is possible but SR not :(

It's because they are not always there and the schedule changes. You can budget in time by giving yourself a break of 20-30 minutes.

I LOVED using TP predicted wait times to plan our days last January. I'll do it every trip. It was almost exact, we might have even been ahead of schedule in a few cases. Love it!

I've been using TP.com since 06 and using their app since it first debuted. There will be some variance but on the whole I find their predicted wait time to be accurate and I use their personalized touring plans on every trip.

Ok. I have a question. How come on some of the spots on my Touring plans it has free time listed as 125 minutes or 222 minutes before the next ride time shows?

I see TP has low crowds 10/30-11/7 this year but based on last years #s of 5/6/7s that surprises me, how off are they on crowd predicters?
