Question for those recently back from WDW

Did any hours get extended during your visit?

We were there June 28 through July 2. Hours did not get extended during our stay although they were extended about the 2nd week in June versus what they were originally posted as on the Disney website. Three years ago we were there during Memorial Day week and they extended them several nights during our week's stay so we kind of expected it this time (being so close to 4th of July we thought the crowds would be big). We were surprised though that crowds were much lighter than we expected. I'm not sure if travel is really down this summer at WDW, or if everyone was waiting for FTP to kick in before they go to Disney.

Not that we noticed, and we just returned last weekend as well. About the best we could manage this year was an 11 p.m. Magic Kingdom closing (not as good as midnight like a few years ago, but not so bad as Animal Kingdom's 6 p.m.!).

If they did, we didn't notice. By about 7 PM everyday, we were so worn out, we headed back to the hotel and the pool.
