I have a quetion for the taller folk out there. I am about 6 feet tall, and I was wondering if anyone has had any bad exprience on any of the rides because of your height (i.e the cars are small so your knees are in your chest). The two I could see this as being a problem in is the speedway and dumbo in Magic Kingdom. Are there any other ones I should be concerned about?

I'm 6'3". Now that I'm a bit older and creakier than I used to be it is a pain to ride Space Mountain. I just have to jam my knees in there and hope for the best. I'll probably be skipping it from now on.

No problem on the Tomorrowland Speedway though. :confused3

I am 6'2" and don't recall having a problem or discomfort on any ride. Dumbo is a tighter squeeze for us, but only because we cram me, my wife and 4 year old into the same car.

DH also has issues with Space Mountain due to his height. He can't jam his knees in anymore because now his knees are bad. ;) He skips it.

I have a hard time getting my legs into the Astro Orbiter. Not a terrible time, and once I'm in I'm good, but it's a tight squeeze (ride with a child if you have kids and not another adult!). SM is a tight fit too, but again, not painful. Like you, OP, I'm just 6 feet, I don't think I'm excessively tall and I think we're well within the design specs for most rides.

I'm 6'2". Only two in the whole resort I can think of, and I still ride them. They just get a bit snug.

Splash Mtn.
Space Mtn.

I am 6' also, and I have no problems with any of the rides. Space Mountain is one of the few i have not experienced (i get a little nervous on roller coasters lol), but my sister said it is a bit nerve-wracking how low some of the areas are, and you think you may hit your head (she is shorter than me)....other than that though, I think you should be fine :)

Dinosaur really killed me,SM was pretty cramped-probably won't ride it anymore,Astro Orbiter was pretty tight as well,Speedway was really bad for me also! Dinosaur was the worst-just killed my knees(very bumpy ride too)! Splash Mountain was tight as well-had to sit sideways, and alone:scared1:! I'm 6'4".

My 6'5 husband says that Splash Mountain is painful for his knees. He has to sit sideways as well.

I am not sure this is related to height (could be more weight) but I try to avoid ToT, because every time I ride it after getting into the elevator the cable snaps and we go plunging 13 stories down.

Somehow we always manage to escape unscathed, but I don't know if I would chance it again.

Everest is not a tight fit but the headrest is low. Keep your head back or you will get a sore neck from the reverse drop. I am 6' 4"

I'm 6'4" and Space Mountain was intolerable. To simulate my experience in the front seet of a Space Mountain rocket, squat in the bed of a pick-up truck with your knees cramped up into your face and a large metal pole imbedded between your thighs. Then have someone drive the pick-up as fast as it will go over three minutes of dirt roads.

(The image that came up on the displays as were leaving told the whole story. I was snarling.)

Other than that, I can't think of a single experience that was bad. Some things, like the railroad, might require a sideways sitting approach, but then so does my public bus.

My husband is 6'3 and he has only ever mentioned Space Mountain. Not for the fit but his nervousness about how close you are to things in the dark. He has been warned by CM's more then once to not put his arms into the air. So he said he hunches down in his seat a little and keeps hands down. He rarely complains about fit I think because it is such the norm for him everywhere. Not just because of height but he is very broad in the shoulders.

My husband is 6'3 and rides everything.

There are a couple tight squeezes, but he has a trick he does....crosses his legs at the ankles and this works well.

BTMRR, Dumbo, rides like that it works well. Obviously Space Mt he can't, he was fine, but the first time he rode it, he thought his knees were going to get chopped off they stuck out so far. LOL (obviously he was ok)

My DH is 6'2" and the only thing I have heard him complain about is RRC that the bars sit really snug against his shoulder and hurt alittle when it goes through the loop. I don't ride it so I don't know how it is. I am 5'9" and don't have problems with the rides. The rides geared toward the little kids my knees do have a tight fit.

My DH is 6'8" tall, think basketball player build... he will not ride Space Mountain (He can't fit into the seat right, no leg room), BTMRR(Thought his head was going to be cut off but he did like the ride), Splash Mountain was ok, but cramped as he has long legs.. he can't sit in the back row of ToT as it's too cramped, the front row seems a teeny bit better for him,, this also applies to IASW and Pirates and Maelstrom (boat rides). He flat out didn't like EE.. the seats were ok, but he didn't seem to care for the headrests, probably because he was too tall for them.

6'2" here. Space Mountain is the only ride that's been a problem. Once I rode it with no issue. The other time I rode it I was so cramped I couldn't get the bar over my knees. That was a scary ride. I wasn't restrained and was just holding on for dear life!

Other rides have varying leg room depending on where you sit--Snow White has more leg room in the rear, Winnie the Pooh has more leg room in the front row.

I also agree with an earlier comment about Dinosaur being pretty tight.

I am 6'2" and a large guy. I always find the second row in each of the cars on RnRC very tight for my knees. The first row in each car is much more comfortable if you are taller, IMO.
