Question for the September Vistors?

How much rain should I expect in September? I went to weather.com and it just gave me an average. Should I expect rain every day? We are scheduled for September 11 to the 18th but we may move it to March. September will be warmer but I could do without a lot of rain.

We went right after Labor day about 8 years ago and it rained every day for a week. Not the typical 30 minute Florida rain but all day. On the bright side, we stayed cool and there were no crowds anywhere. We even stayed on several rides for a second ride without getting off. We had fun but we kept a good attitude through it all.

We went at the beginning of Sept a few years ago. Bright sunny days every day until about 2pm. Then it would rain for 8 hours straight!! Bring ponchos if you go then. The good thing is that lines were shorter, the bad thing was having constantly wet feet! Also, several times the afternoon parade and Illuminations were cancelled due to lightening.

We've been to WDW many times in September, and we'll be back this year on the exact dates that you will be there. We have typically had good luck with the weather. There have been occasional showers, but we haven't really experienced as much rain as we expected. The bottom line is that in September the weather is unpredictable, except that it will probably be hot! The chance of rain is more than offset by the low crowds that September offers. We think that September is the best time of year to go, considering the weather, the crowds and all other factors. Have a great time!

I was just talking to Dh and because I was just there in April and I'm really looking forward to Stitch and the Stunt show at MGM. We will be going in March for 10 day. 7nights POP or Moderate depending on Codes and 3 NIghts RPR Universal have AP. I really enjoy the water parks so this will probably be a better time of year.
