So I'm really curious. How do women keep their makeup on when it's really hot and humid? Lol. I don't wear makeup often but it would be nice to on vacation. Yet, I don't want to look like the joker during those really hot and humid days. I'm clueless.

Waterproof stuff is your friend. Also, I would skip any cream based stuff and go with powdered. Finally I'd probably set it with a powdered sunscreen that I reapply (I like colorescience). And I'd check routinely in the bathroom for the joker! :)

Waterproof gel eyeliner, waterproof mascara, cream-based eye shadow, long-wearing lip color. When I'm lazy and don't wash my face before bed, I wake up with a tiny bit of smudged eyeliner - everything else is intact.

Clinique City Block Oil free daily face protector as a make up primer under your make-up. I don't use it at home and when I look into the mirror at noon my make-up is usually gone. I use it at WDW under my make-up and it can be 90 degrees and I look in the mirror at 4:00 p.m. and still have all my makeup on from that morning!

A makeup primer along with waterproof mascara and eyeliner is the way to go. I also set everything with powder mineral makeup bc it provides some extra spf coverage. If you really want lipcolor to stay use lip liner on your entire lip, not just the outline, and then apply your color. Be sure to take a good makeup remover or even some vaseline to get your park proof makeup off.

I have Bare Essentials....is that good?

I bring waterproof and go light on the makeup. I brought some along to touch up and usually made sure there was nothing under my eyes when in the bathroom. Between the water rides, the heat and my own emotions (I tend to get weepy at WDW - just because I'm so excited to be there!!) I need all the waterproof I can get!

I wear my normal make up when there and if it melts away during the day so be it, I usually try to touch myself up before we go out for dinner though. Although I do wear waterproof mascara on purpose so it doesn't run.

Waterproof and bring powder for touchup. I usually do it after lunch and before dinner. Although I usually go back to the resort before going out again for dinner. Gotta look at least a little presentable :D

Waterproof mascara and powder. I've given up on the fact that I might be a tad shiny. At least nobody notices!

I just put on some sunscreen with powder over it to keep down the shine. A little concealer where needed, waterproof eyeliner and mascara and I'm good to go.

We're just back from our trip, and I forgot my makeup removal wipes and had to SCRUB to get off what I wore. Which was: Sarah McNamara Miracle Skin Transformer, pressed powder, a UD primer on my lids, a very light swipe of sparkly eyeshadow, and Stila eyeliner. Followed by UD's DeSlick spray. The DeSlick is seriously a miracle product...that's what kept my makeup in place. Sephora and Ulta both sell travel sizes near the counters, but I highly recommend just buying the regular sized bottle because it's a must-have for the summer.

I don't worry about it. No matter what makeup I try, it is gone in a couple of hours. Now I stick to tinted moisturizer, a tinted lip balm with spf, and waterproof mascara. Sweat under a layer of makeup ain't pretty.

So what's everyone's favorite waterproof mascara?
I use Lancôme eternicils all year except summer - I loved loreal double extend waterproof (so inexpensive and worked so well!) it's been discontinued so it's probably back to department store, looking for suggestions!

I have incredibly oily skin and was there last week. Get some Mally ever color poreless face defender. It is like a silicone primer that goes on over your makeup to set it. You can reapply throughout the day and it will not cake. It will completely erase shine without having to pack on powder, which gets nasty in the humidity. Blotting papers are also awesome.
