Men with accents - does that drive you nutz or what??? I love accents, particularly Austrailian, but pretty much anything . Love it love it love it.

What is your favorite?

British, Scotch and Irish. Also a good southern accent. But the voice has to be strong as well. Maybe with a little "gravel" in it.

My family lives in Scotland and you should see all the people at WDW that always stop and talk to them with their lovely accents.

When people here our "accents' they always say "oh you're from Canada aren't you"?

I DO NOT LIKE FOREIGN ACCENTS!!!!!!! However, I like an EDUCATED southern accent - agreeing with above poster that the teeth need to be there, can't be a candidate for a Jeff Foxworthy joke, and no tobacco or shotguns.

I was born in Alabama and moved to Texas while 18 mos to 7 years and came back with enough of a drawl that I was made fun of when we returned to 'Bama.

People today say that I do not have the thick Alabama accent - just enough to be recognized as a Southern Gentleman.

Educated? Why, I graduated Laude Hae Mercy!

The only thing worse than hearing a Hollywood phony Southern accent is hearing the real thing on a game show or the national news.

BTW, I can fake a Scottish accent as well as any other third rate community theatre performer...

I have a good friend from Australia and I love his accent! I had gone on a 3 week trip to the British Isles and was pretty much surrounded by Aussie accents so by the time I finally met up with him in London I wasn't as mesmerized. What's funny is, he likes my New York accent!! I like southern accents too, such as Texas.

I can do an Alabama accent quite well, or so I've been told.

No offense to AA, but I definately do not prefer a southern accent.
