Does anyone here know of/visit a message board related to women's health? I'm looking for a place like the Dis, with nice people who answer your questions :) If you'd rather, feel free to DM me. Thanks SO much; my mom and I aren't close, and I have no close female friends or relatives to ask about things. :flower3:

healthboards.com

thenest.com or if it's pregnancy ortrying to conceive related, try thebump.com

Is it anything you can ask here? I'm sure many of the women would be happy to help, myself included! :thumbsup2

I would also recommend the book "Taking Charge of Your Fertility" by Toni Weschler (not certain I spelled her last name right). IMO it is the Woman's Reproductive System Bible... I was in my thirties when I first read it and I was AMAZED by what I DID NOT KNOW about my own body!!!! I would recommend it for any woman, trying to concieve or not. There is also a web site related, but I think it is more about baby making.

check out the forums at pregnancy.org

they have all kinds of forums, not just about pregnancy stuff.

I used to go to babycenter.com a lot. The budget board was actually moreof a community board and very fast moving. You also won't miss any good sales! ;)

I believe there is a DIS group on sparkpeople (or something like that) as well. I used to be a member over there.

I like healthboards.com also.

Thanks; I've never heard of heathboards!

I don't actually have a specific question right now; I've actually been looking for health boards for quite awhile, an have been meaning to ask this question for ages. If I do have a question, though (and I don't think I'll get points for it!), I'll definitely ask it here. You guys are the best! :thumbsup2

I also recommend Ivillage.

 I've been an iVillage member for over 10 years now. They're an awesome resource! I'm just looking for additional resources.

It's SO true, how many women don't know about their own bodies. I like to think I do, but there's probably so much that I have no clue about. I'll have to get my hands on this book! :thumbsup2
