Question for the experts on HDDR

We are a family of 5, going in November. We are doing the premium dining plan for 1 night mid trip.
I was trying to book Hoop de doo for 5.
I could only do a ressie for 6 for the time we needed.
So now what happens?
Will I get charged an extra T for only five?
Will my credit card get charged an extra person?
I will continue to try 5 up until then, but what are the consequences of a ressie at HDDR for 6, when I only have 5?

I have had this issue alot with ressies....No tables for 5, but they have tables for 6...

I've never heard of that...... I would try calling the reservation line, and just telling them you need to change your reservation from 6 people to 5.
I had to drop a person off my reservation the last trip, and they had no problem simply removing that person from all the dining reservations.

If you don't cancel sufficiently in advance, you will be charged.

There is a known issue in the ADR system that's been in existence for a long time. When searching for tables of odd numbers, it does not include searches for the next one up as well (which, 99% of the time is the same table size). As suggested by numerous CMs, adding one and searching on the next higher even number is acceptable.

However, the caveat is at the Pre-pay meals as well as the CC guarantee meals, as you will be charged for even partial parties. In your case, for HDDR, call them up and reduce the party size.
