Question for the DIS males regarding shopping.....

DH and I were out doing a bit of shopping earlier today and I picked up my secret santa/gift that I'm participating in at work. The person I got is a Disney fan as well, so I got her some ornaments from the Disney Store. They put my purchases in a pink Disney Store bag with Cinderella on it.

I wanted to run into Bath & Body Works real quick afterwards and I asked him to hold the bag and he wouldn't! He said "I'm not holding that thing!" He acted like it contained a poisonous snake or something!

So DIS males, would you have held the bag for your wife/girlfriend/sister/daughter, etc?

My DH doesn't DIS, so I'll answer this for him: He would have happily held the bag. How do I know this without even asking him? Because he has no problem carrying my "theme park tote bag" around when it gets too heavy for me. My theme park tote bag is a large pink bag with a fluffy white cat in a rhinestone tiara on it. A Disney Store Cinderella bag would look like the Rottweiler of bags compared to my fluffy kitty tote.

DH had problems carrying an all black diaper bag or pushing a stroller so there is no chance he would carry a pink bag for me.

My husband is so whipped, he wouldn't think twice about holding my bags of any color. He's held my new pink Vera bag already...lol!

My hubby may not like it--but he has never declined holding anything for me. It helps that I just kind of hand it to him and walk away (usually the only reason for him holding anything specific)...then when he realizes, he says a big "HEY!!!".

He has never refused any kind of shopping bag.

I don't get why men would. It's not like the poor guys will catch cooties.

Well, first, my Dh wouldn't be there to hold the bag...

I don't think he would have a problem holding it for a short time, but he wouldn't carry it around the mall (that is if he ever went to a mall).

but I dont no nothing about holding no purse!

Heck ya I would hold it for my DW. I have even carried around her Silk & Satin and La Senza bags with no problem at all.

My dad would hold it. A bag is a bag. It doesn't matter what color it is. LOL. He will even hold my or my mom's purse if we need to try something on in the fitting room. LOL.

My DH would hold it and not even think about it. I'm petite, so he thinks I'm too small and weak to carry a lot, so he always carrys everything.

He also carried my cute little crochet back-pack purse around WDW for 2 days, so I wouldn't get tan lines before our wedding! What a guy!
