Question for SSR Experts

I know I've seen a thread on the before but I can't seem to find it and am too lazy to keep looking!

So to you experts my sister and I are visiting with three little ones in March '11 and were wondering if there is a location at this resort where we could get a view of DTD as well as being pretty close to the main pool. I did look at the resort map and can't make heads or tails out of it.

Or just what is the best place to request in your opinion and why??? Thanks so much!!!

No there isn't. It to get a view of DTD you need to be in Congress Park(AFIK that's the only location to give that view). It's not particularly close to the main pool and requires a decent walk to the main area.

Try this map of SSR. The buildings along the river is the Congress Park area. The buildings across from the main pool and check in area is the Springs area.

When we stay at SSR we like the Grandstand area because it isn't far from the main building & pool and it also has a nice secondary pool with children's wet play area.

This is also where we stay. It's the first bus stop too.

All the areas have something good to offer and not. While Grandstand is the first bus stop, now that the Treehouse villas bus to that stop it can be very crowded. Also not every building in Grandstand is close to the main building.

Congress Park has beautiful views and the best pool but not as close to the main building.

Springs is the closest to the main building and main pool.

Paddocks has some very nice views and just across the bridge to the Carriage House.

Congress Park has the view of DTD and a nice private pool. I don't think it is a bad walk to main pool, and we have two dds (8,6) and stroll. Also, here is the closest walk to DTD.

Paddock has a great view over the lake, and a walk across the bridge to the main pool isn't bad. Not sure if construction has started at the private pool there.
